Our Story

What began as a small, hands-on workshop in 1980 has grown into a business built on resilience, craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing things properly.

Cudlee Creek Joinery was founded with a simple focus; building quality kitchens by hand. In the early years, every project was crafted with care, earning a reputation for reliability and attention to detail that would carry the business forward for decades.

As demand grew, so did the vision. In 2007, the business expanded, opening a showroom in Valley View under the name Kitchen Edge. This marked a new chapter, giving customers a place to experience thoughtful design alongside the same trusted workmanship behind the scenes.

In 2020, everything changed.

The Cudlee Creek bushfires destroyed the original workshop, bringing an abrupt end to an era. But rather than stepping away, the decision was made to rebuild; stronger, more capable, and ready for the future.

A brand new factory was established in Pooraka, continuing under the Kitchen Edge name. With it came renewed energy, modern processes, and the same core values that had been there since the beginning.

In 2025, the business expanded again with the launch of Kitchen Fabricators Pty Ltd, created to support cabinet makers across South Australia with high-quality, precision-made kitchen flatpacks. This new arm of the business reflects a natural progression: combining decades of hands-on experience with efficient, scalable manufacturing.

Today, the business stands as a blend of tradition and innovation, built on over 40 years of experience, shaped by challenge, and driven by a commitment to quality that hasn’t changed since day one.
